What is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a comprehensive data protection regulation that unifies data protection law across all European Union member states. It defines an extended set of rights for European Union citizens and residents regarding their personal data.

How do we process your personal information?

Goalplan collects personal data from multiple sources, in several ways and on several occasions, for example, the Point Of Sales systems (POS) and when you are using Goalplan.

The personal data we collect, process and store

1. When you register your Goalplan account

Name, E-mail address, Phone number

We collect the information in order to create and uphold your Goalplan account and to send you Goalplan notifications

2. Transactional Data

Sales data, KPIs and other data collected from your existing services and systems.

3. Activity Data

Behavioral data or Activity data such as Performance statements made, the Budget process, Academy training videos watched, coaching performed and communication.

Whom might we share this personal information with?
Goalplan uses different suppliers' products and services for our IT infrastructure and software development. This means that these providers may process your personal information. However, the suppliers have all signed Personal data processor agreements with Goalplan and may only process your personal information according to our instructions.

In some cases, Goalplan may be required to provide information to authorities by law or by judgment.
Were do we store your personal information?

We strive to always store your personal data within the EU / EEA. However, in some situations, they may be treated outside the EU / EEA by a third party, such as a technology provider or subcontractor. We make sure that we only use companies with valid Privacy Shield Certificate. We will always take all reasonable legal, technical and organizational measures to handle your information at the same level as the protection offered within the EU / EEA.

Most of our storage is with Google Cloud and with their Frankfurt servers. 

Your rights

Right of withdrawal of consent

You are entitled to revoke your consent to certain personal data processing at any time. If you revoke your consent, we will discontinue the treatment for which you have given your consent and delete the personal data processed solely on the basis of the consent.

Right of access

You are entitled to receive information about what personal data we have about you and how we treat these data. You are also entitled to receive a copy of this information.

Right to rectification and erasure

You are entitled to receive incorrect information corrected and supplemented. In some cases, you may also delete your personal data, for example, if they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.

Right to object and rights to treatment.

You are entitled to object to the processing of your information for, for example, direct marketing and in cases where we process the data with the legal basis that we have a legitimate interest. You are also entitled to restrict treatment, eg if you believe the information is incorrect.

Right to data portability

In some cases, you may obtain the personal information you have provided. The data is presented in a structured and machine-readable format, and you also have the right to transfer the data to another personal data controller when technically possible.
