Grupo SBF, Owner of Centauro and Official Distributor of Nike in Brazil, SIGN A TWO YEAR AGREEMENT WITH Goalplan

Grupo SBF, listed on Brazil stock market B3 (SBFG3), owner of Centauro and Official Distributor of Nike in Brazil, embarks on a Sales Performance journey with Swedish Sales Performance Platform, Goalplan.

The project with Goalplan will benefit all stores and the thousands of employees under the SBF umbrella

Grupo SBF, which owns Centauro, the largest sports retailer in South America, and 20 Nike stores, has recently contracted Goalplan, a digital performance platform, to digitise their sales organisation. The two-year contract aims to optimise and enhance communication and information, increase productivity, and provide real-time control of KPIs - for thousands of employees.

Goalplan will concentrate, organise and distribute the information in a personalised manner for all stores. Therefore, leadership teams will have more time for coaching personnel, while staff will be able to enjoy instant access to information, campaigns and insights.

“We have been talking about reducing the chain of command and control and adopting a management of engagement and autonomy. A work plan to improve our goal will allow a much more personalised conversation tailored to our ‘athletes’ (sales staff). They will become more efficient and better connected, using the information and indicators that they need to carry out their work to full capacity,” explains Silvio Batista, Retail Concepts and Capabilities Manager.

According to Markus Täkte, CEO of Goalplan, this partnership is important and adds value to the company's international benchmark.

In the market for 40 years, Grupo SBF is a unique reference in Brazil and Latin America, in addition to being listed on the country's Stock Exchange. It is, for sure, a key customer for us. We embrace this project with enthusiasm and commitment in order to achieve the agreed results.”

Despite its Swedish roots, Goalplan communicates very well with the Brazilian market. The company has other large clients in the country, in addition to being part of Inovabra habitat, Bradesco's co-innovation environment. Bradesco being  the third largest banking institution in Brazil, as well as the third largest in Latin America.

“Brazil is a sea of diverse opportunities to explore. So far, we have identified business opportunities in a majority of the companies with whom we have spoken. Swedish technology, one of the best in the world as we already know, and Brazilian entrepreneurship, fit together exceptionally well,” details Markus Täkte.

At present, the startup project for Grupo SBF is initiated, and will soon onboard and welcome all the users,  the 'athletes' in the Centauro and Nike Stores.
